My Journey to Building a Business I Love

Hey there! I'm Melissa Wolbert, and like many of you, I've worn a lot of different hats. My journey hasn't been a straight line, but every twist and turn has led me to where I am today: helping ambitious women like you scale businesses that honor both your bank account and your soul.

You might be surprised to learn that I actually started my career in nursing. I fought hard to become a nurse at 37, driven by a genuine desire to care for others. But in 2022, I reached a breaking point. I realized I was being asked to compromise my values, and I knew I couldn't do it. So, I made the tough decision to walk away.

Before nursing, motherhood sparked my entrepreneurial journey. I launched a childcare business from the ground up while raising my three children. And would add my 4th child in my 30’s. It wasn't just babysitting – I created a nurturing and educational environment for young minds, eventually scaling it into a full-fledged center. Running that childcare business taught me the power of creating something meaningful and the importance of community.

Life then took an unexpected turn, leading me to the corporate world processing insurance claims. But the desire to create and build never faded. Even then, I was always looking for ways to innovate and improve processes, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to everything I did. And let's not forget my brief but passionate stint as a mobile coffee entrepreneur! That experience taught me the importance of connecting with people on a personal level and the power of a good cup of amazing energetic coffee to brighten someone's day.

That leap of faith led me to build a $300K business in just 16 months, proving that you can create success without sacrificing your integrity. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. I've also been a childcare business owner, an insurance claims processor, and even a mobile coffee entrepreneur! Each experience has taught me valuable lessons that I now share with my clients.

These experiences, combined with my nursing background, have given me a unique perspective on business and life. I understand the challenges of juggling multiple roles, the importance of staying true to your values, and the power of creating a business that aligns with your soul.
